Making time

Hello lovely readers, I'm writing this post at four minutes to three in the morning. It seems the dead of night is the only time I get to think straight and get my thoughts down in a coherent manner.

I don't know exactly what it is lately, but my mind feels a bit all over the place, you know, trying to do a million things at once and then feeling like you're not doing any one thing particularly well.

I'm sad that my blogging seems to have slowed down as much as it has. There has been so much going on and I have lots to share with you all, (the picture shows me and my store Naturally Nourishing at the Hilly Fields Fayre last Saturday) but time seems to get the better of me. I need to refocus and get better organised. Or maybe this is just a season I'm passing through, where I need to sit back and take stock of everything that's going on.....

Either way I will not fret or worry The good Lord has it all worked out. He is in control. Hopefully I'll be back on the blogging treadmill very soon too.

God wants me to blog

During my frustrated moments this past few weeks, I began to wonder if I should quit blogging. I didn't see the point, or maybe I felt that I was talking too much, or getting too personal, or whatever, whatever, whatever. Well as you know I've been missing in action for a bit on the blog front, and my sisters were asking me what was happening, and why I wasn't posting as much.

To be honest I really didn't have much to say and I was feeling a bit fed up with everything, but then the last few posts I wrote have had some of the highest viewing figures in RECORD time. Now it could very well be an anomaly, or one of those google glitch things, I don't know, but I think it's way too much of a coincidence for this not to be God's doing. You know, His way of showing me a sign.

Come on, think about it, I'm down in the dumps, contemplating quitting blogging, then I get prompted to write some posts and those very posts have over 600 and 2000 views respectively in a matter of days. I don't care what anyone says, that is INDEED a sign from God. He wants me to keep blogging people and what He says goes, so looks like I'm here to stay guys.

For now anyway........ : )

Sick Mummy, busy Mummy

Hey guys, it's been a while hasn't it? Since I started blogging nearly nine months ago I think this is the longest I've gone without writing a post.

Things have been busy I must say, I've been writing articles for Nu People Magazine, getting my girls ready to start school and pre-school next week *weeps*, going on various days out and weekends away to make the most of the handful of free days left with the girls (will fill you all in soon), then to top it all off I was really ill a few days ago. Sore throat, hot eyes, aches, shivers, no appetite, weak..... I could go on.

If you're a mum you'll understand that despite feeling completely rubbish there is no getting away from mummy duties. I lay on the couch in agony for a few hours, took some painkillers then got on with looking after my children. It was a tough few days, but God is good and I'm still here to tell the tale.

Hope all you lovely readers are well and good. I'm off to buy my eldest her school shoes now. Panic buying at its best.

Sometimes I look at my little blog and think to myself, wow, I've come a long way in nearly six months. Then other times I feel disillusioned, unsure of the direction I'm going in.

Am I saying too little, am I revealing too much?

One thing I do know for certain is that everything within these pages is 100% me. It pretty much mirrors my life. Of course not every single detail is documented here, but it's pretty close.

Blogging has provided such a creative outlet for me. It's like my dream job, but without the monthly wage. *wails*

I am meeting fabulous, inspirational people, being involved with exciting projects, going to great events. Twitter has proved invaluable, so much so I think I'll have to dedicate a post to it.

Blogging is all encompassing, addictive and rewarding and I'm still working on striking the right balance. I don't know where this blogging journey is going to take me, but one thing is for sure I'm enjoying the ride.
